Providing several performance opportunities for students is an important part of The Next Step. We aim to enhance the dancers stage presence, poise, gracefulness, self confidence and above all, love of dance. The Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee is the home for all Next Step Dance Studio Productions.This year we have scheduled the following:Holiday Christmas Show Night of BroadwayDancing in the Park Annual Recital Please Note: Participation in Studio Productions is not a requirement. Please let the office know as soon as possible if your dancer will not perform so that costumes and choreography adjustments can be made.Costume and Performance Fees: Performance Fees: Due to increased cost of productions, there will be a $15.00 performance fee per student per show. This will be applied to insurance, music royalties, and professional lighting fees.Costume fees: Costumes range from $60.00 - $90.00 per class. A separated detailed costume invoice for the year with payment deadlines will be sent out in October.Studio Holiday Christmas Show: Holiday Christmas Show! Not all classes will perform in this production. Since this is our first show of the year all Costume fees for the Studios Christmas Show will need to be paid by September 15, 2010.Night of Broadway: Very popular! This show will be put on by the studios Broadway Production classes accompanied by Jazz and Tap classes. We will also feature guest vocalists and performers from the valley. Costumes and accessories will be kept to a minimum. There will be a small rental fee for Broadway Props such as top hats, gloves, ties, canes, etc.Year End Annual Recital:Our Grand Finale! This years theme will be Burning Up the Dance Floor! This show will showcase all the dancers from the entire Next Step Dance Studio. We encourage your childs participation as the recital is a chance for students to show what they have learned and for us to show our appreciation of their hard work. A costume for each class is required for this show.Rehearsals:Tech and dress rehearsals are required for participation in each production. The week leading into each show will require extra rehearsal time. Our regular class schedule will change. We will provide you with a detailed rehearsal schedule for each show.
